MACE-VCM OTR CAI WITHOUT MANIFOLD INSULATORS TO SUIT HOLDEN VE SIDI LF1 3.0L V6

(Please note this specific SIDI OTR will only suit the LF1 specific VE motor. If you have a LLT, LFX & LFW motor please locate them in the search menu.If you are unsure or need assistance please contact us)

This OTR cold air intake provides a range of benefits as listed below:

  • Increased power & torque
  • Increased air flow
  • Cooler air intake temperatures
  • Increased throttle response
  • Increased fuel economy
  • Great induction sound
  • Stealth under bonnet appearance

The factory intake is very limiting, as the engine must draw in air through the 90 degree curved intake pipe, restrictive air box and paper panel filter. The intake is designed in such a way in order to limit noise but unfortunately lowers the volumetric efficiency of the motor.

There is:

  • No tilting back of radiators involved
  • No removing bumper bars or grilles to install CAI or clean filter
  • No cutting of any body panels

The circular LF1 and LLT MAF cartridges will simply slot into the adapter included with the OTR which is pictured below. This adapter relocates the MAF between the throttle body and the OTR. This adapter will NOT suit later model LFX and LFW equipped commodores so please choose carefully (OTR to suit these motors are featured in another ad). If unsure, feel free to contact us.

Kit Contains:

  • OTR CAI
  • K&N Filter
  • OEM Radiator mounting brackets and washers
  • OEM flexible couplings Stainless steel hose clamps
  • OEM style drain valve
  • OEM breather connector
  • PCV Plumbing kit
  • Adapters

*THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE MANIFOLD INSULATORS, PLEASE VIEW OUR OTHER LISTINGS FOR V6 OTR PACKAGES THAT INCLUDE MANIFOLD INSULATORS.*

To ensure successful fitment, the MAF loom will require extending and our manifold insulators will also need to be installed to allow the throttle body to line up with the intake. This is somewhat of a tedious install and unless confident we recommend having it fitted at a professional workshop.

Please contact us, if you require fitment instruction.

Please note :

  • A Dyno tune is mandatory post fitment otherwise a fault code will be thrown and the vehicle may enter limp mode. We have a number of specialized workshops we recommend for Dyno tuning vehicles with these setups.
  • Due to VCMs recent design change, the grommet on the back of the OTR must be drilled out and fitted with the plastic barb included in the plumbing pack so it can be used as part of the breather setup.
  • If you have an LPG Alloytec V6 (LWR) then please confirm exactly what type of MAF cartridge your vehicle is equipped with prior to making a purchase.

Intake must be used with the factory MAF cartridge and our Manifold Insulators for perfect fitment.
